Develops LAMP applications for an e-commerce company and serves watch over production linux web and database servers.

Accomplishments and Responsibilities:

  • Rewrote legacy product import application making use of PHP5 OOP, temp tables, and other efficiences to drastically improve execution time and employee productivty.
  • Working with developers played a key role in a website refresh. Realized huge performance gains by moving front end pages away from strictly database driven to cached flat files.
  • Monitor and maintain production Apache and MySQL servers running on CentOS Linux.
  • Consistently implements refreshing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JQuery enhancing workflow on backend applications.

Web Application Developer, Salt Lake City, Utah    04/2007 – 06/2010

Developed LAMP applications for an e-commerce company.

  • Implemented FedEx and USPS APIs to improve margins on shipping costs.
  • Played a leading roll in major releases to a custom e-commerce shopping cart.
